Play to Learn
Background.
Play to learn is a game for kids, who are raised bilingual. The research project set out to prove that by improving a child’s primary language, the secondary language improves as well. This project was led by researchers at Griffith University, in collaboration with the Griffith Film School. The game was composed of several mini-games.
Initially I was asked by Griffith University to lead a small team of students in the continued development of this game. As the project evolved and grew, and the students graduated, the decision was made that I would be contracted to finalize the development.
